STUDENTS DONATE GENERATORS

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe Student Body of KOYISS has donated two generator sets to the School. In brief presentation through the Headmaster to the school, the Senior Girls’ Prefect, Miss Mavis Asiamah said they were only contributing their widows might to the growth and development of the school. She said the students felt it necessary to do this especially when the school was going through electricity challenges as a result of nationwide power crisis. ‘I hope this contribution would help minimize the challenge especially as we prepare and write the 2013 WASSCE’ she added.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMaster Brafo Sakyi Isaac on his part explained how they were able to provide this valuable asset to the school. According to him, the students agreed and cheerfully contributed two Ghana Cedis (GHC 2), part of which was used in celebrating the STUDAFEST (SRC week) and part was used in addition to the SRC dues to purchase the generators. He also added that they were able to complete the SRC notice board which was started by their predecessors. He admonished the new student leadership of the school to work progressively for the betterment of the student body and the entire school in general.

The Headmaster, Nana Yaw Adu-Gyamfi Boakye thanked the students for their wonderful gesture. He intimated that if the students have been able to prove that they can be productive even in school, then nothing can stop them from doing likewise after completion. In attendance was the Assistant Headmaster, Mr Boakye, The Senior Housemaster, Mr Odartey Solomon and the SRC Patron, Mr Obrempon as well as some of the Prefectoral Board members.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
